"DENSITY evokes the physical notion of density—a property related to the state of a substance. Within this framework, Daphne Kotsiani and Ilias Georgiadis merge imagery from their latest works These Earthly Shores and Forecast to create a stratified iconography, built on symbols and metaphors, which establishes a realm beyond the limits of space-time and identification.As an artist duo, they shape visual stories in which landscapes, the human form, memory, and time are intertwined. Their work—sensitive, introspective, and infused with a poetry that shifts between shadow and light—creates imaginary realms for the viewer to explore.Their creative universes respond to and complete each other blending Ilias’s existential intensity with the meditative grace of Daphne’s landscapes, resulting in a common language that is layered and deeply emotional. Their exhibition presents a unique meeting of two distinct visions that come together to form a common ground."
