Daphne Kotsiani was born in Thessaloniki, where she lives and works. She studied music, performs as a pianist and she has composed works for audiovisual installations in Greece and abroad.
Beyond music, she has cultivated a keen interest in fine art photography, which serves as her primary medium for expression, research, and creation. Her practice merges analogue and digital techniques to shape a personal visual language that explores her deep connection with the natural world. Through her images, she investigates the concept of the poetic landscape, often examining it through the prism of memory and the inevitable passage of time.
She has participated in photography festivals as well as solo and group exhibitions in Europe and Greece, and her work has been published in various photography magazines and blogs (L'Oeil de la Photographie, 9Lives Magazine, L'Intervalle Blog, 5 RueDu, American Suburb X, Yogurt, ArtDoc Magazine, Fresh Eyes, Luminous Eye).
