Daphne Kotsiani was born in Thessaloniki, where she lives and works. With a background in classical and contemporary music, she is active as a pianist and composer for audiovisual installations in Greece and abroad.
In parallel, she has developed a keen interest in fine art photography, which serves as her primary medium for expression, research, and creation. Her practice merges analogue and digital techniques to shape a personal visual language that explores her deep connection with the natural world. Through her images, she investigates the concept of the poetic landscape, often examining it through the prism of memory and the inevitable passage of time.
Her work has been presented in photography festivals, solo and group exhibitions across Europe, and has been published in various international magazines and platforms dedicated to contemporary photography.
